Referral Terms and Conditions
In addition to the current terms and conditions in place for the Employee Referral Program and the New Employee Attraction Campaign, the following terms will also apply for the duration of the campaign period.
- Payment for a referred candidate who successfully completes three months employment is a one‐time payment of $2000. The payment will be taxed at the employee’s marginal tax rate.
- This payment will not be subject to superannuation guarantee payments.
- Payment is costed the position’s hiring Manager’s cost centre.
- Payment will be issued provided the relevant terms have been satisfied.
- Labour Hire employees are ineligible to be referred.
- For the duration of the Campaign, referrals are not subject to specific trades type or locations within the scope of eligible roles, whereas an employee can refer a candidate for any eligible location for any eligible trades role.
- Referrals are valid for six (6) months from the date of referral.
- All referrals received from the campaign commencement date to closing date (inclusive) will be considered eligible for the Earn BIG ‐ Trades Employee Referral Promotion. Referrals received outside of the campaign period will be eligible for the ongoing Employee Referral Program, provided the referral satisfies the terms and conditions which governs the program.
