DANIEL VIERO

GENERAL MANAGER – SAFETY & OPERATIONS

Daniel joined Hastings Deering in 2014 and before his current position was a CQ Area Manager and Mackay Area Manager for the company.


Daniel brings to his position a vast range of experience, including 10 years with the Royal Australian Navy, involved with their Fleet Arm Operations, 817 Squadron, 10 years with MTU Detroit Diesel, and other roles such as leading hand, foreman, service manager and branch manager.

To complement his experience, Daniel holds many qualifications, including   Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Diploma in Management. He also holds a CRT 4 in Aviation Mechanical Engineering and is a qualified Justice of the Peace.
