Brisbane Lions AFLW Partnership Continues

We are excited to announce that our partnership with the Brisbane Lions AFLW team is back for 2021. The women’s team play their first home game of the season this Sunday 7th February at Hickey Park, where the girls will take on the Geelong Cats.

This partnership provides us a great opportunity to support women in sport and reinforces our commitment to developing pathways to build and increase female participation in our respective fields.

In 2021, our continued partnership includes branding at both men’s and women’s games, the Women's team polo and media backdrop. We are also planning to hold some COVID-safe activation's at some of the games and will be hosting a community clinic designed to engage young girls to participate in sport or pursue careers in the mining and construction sectors.

After a big Round 1 win in Melbourne over the weekend, the Lions are looking to extend their success this week at home.

The AFLW 2021 Season runs for 12 weeks including finals, with the Lions Women having a total of 5 home games in Brisbane and another on the Gold Coast.

Ticketing

Entry will now be $10 for adults, with those under 18 allowed into matches for free. The introduction of ticketing will allow crowds to attend in a COVID-safe environment.

Please note all attendees must obtain a ticket in advance of the match via the assigned ticket agent, this includes juniors under 18 who are entitled to a free ticket. Tickets will not be available for sale at the match.
