    Brisbane Lions: Logo 1

    BRISBANE LIONS

    The Brisbane Lions Australian Football Club is the professional AFL club based in Brisbane. The Brisbane Lions were formed on 4 July 1996, when the AFL approved a merger between the Brisbane Bears and the Fitzroy Lions. The club was officially launched on 1 November 1996 and joined the national competition in 1997. It was the first union of two clubs in VFL/AFL history - the perfect combination of an emerging force, full of youthful enthusiasm and energy, with a proud foundation club, overloaded with history and tradition. Hastings Deering partners with the Brisbane Lions Women’s AFLW team, a partnership that allows us to support gender equality and diversity and develop pathways to build and increase female participation within the community and our industry.

    The Queensland Rugby League (QRL) is the governing body for the game of rugby league in Queensland. The QRL contributes to the development of talented players and provides participation pathways for all from the grassroots to elite level. It also manages the Queensland Maroons. The QRL’s purpose is to unite, excite, and inspire people through lifelong engagement in Rugby League to ensure Rugby League is the number one sport in Queensland. Hastings Deering is the naming rights sponsor of the QRL under 20’s competition, “The Hastings Deering Colts”. As the biggest employer in many regional towns and with a similar footprint to the under 20’s team locations, this partnership allows us to support our local communities.

    The Civil Contractors Federation Queensland Limited (CCF QLD) represents the interests of the civil construction industry in Queensland while enhancing the prosperity of its members. They do this by providing the industry with assistance, expertise, and support on industry issues. CCF QLD prides itself on being the voice of the civil construction industry and advocates for the interests of industry to all levels of government.

    IPWEAQ is the peak body representing those actively involved in the delivery of public works and services in Queensland. Their purpose is to enhance the quality of life for all Queensland communities by advancing skills, knowledge, and resources available to those involved in the planning and provision of public works and services.

    TIMBER QUEENSLAND

    Timber Queensland is the peak timber industry body in Queensland. With origins stretching back to 1938, their name is synonymous with impartiality and authority. They are an outcome focused, non-profit industry association representing the interests of their members. Their unique and diverse membership base consists of timber businesses from plantation growers, harvesters, sawmillers, and merchants through to timber users including manufacturers, architects, and builders. On behalf of their members, they work to gain the support of politicians, government departments, employers, and environment groups to further develop forest products and the forest products industry

    IQA

    The primary objective of the Institute of Quarrying (IQA) is to advance the Science of quarrying in Australia in the interests of the public at large and assist the advancement of the Science overseas by working cooperatively with the other international institutes. The Institute in Australia has worked to achieve this objective through its commitment to education and training.

    The IQA aim to provide world class professional development for the extractive industry, establish an Australian Academy of Quarrying, and align service offerings with industry needs

    The Local Government Association of Queensland (LGAQ) if the peak body for local government in Queensland. It is a not-for-profit association set-up solely to serve the state’s 77 councils and their individual needs. The LGAQ has been advising, supporting, and representing local councils since 1896, enabling them to improve their operations and strengthen relationships with their communities. The Association does this by connecting councils to people and places that count; supporting their drive to innovate and improve service delivery through smart services and sustainable solutions; and delivering them the means to achieve community, professional, and political excellence.

    CAPRICORN HELICOPTER RESCUE

    The RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service Ltd (CHRS) is dedicated to facilitating the ongoing development and operation of a world class aerial search and rescue service with full aeromedical and counter disaster capabilities in the Central Queensland region.

    The CHRS is a community based, non-profit, registered charity and Registered Public Company. The Service first commenced operations on 26 January 1996 and operates free of charge, 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

     

    Super Yacht Group Great Barrier Reef: Logo 1

    The Super Yacht Group Great Barrier Reef Inc. supports the regional Super Yacht service and support industry and the Great Barrier Reef as a destination through membership and local authority funding

    BOWEN BASIN MINING CLUB

    Building relationships with key procurement executives, CEO’s, and industry influences is vital, but making it happen can be difficult. The Bowen Basin Mining Club (BBMC) is designed to promote healthy business relationships and foster growth across the mining and resource sectors.

    The BBMC actively champions and advocates for the Bowen Basin mining industry at sector events in metropolitan areas. They hold ancillary events to directly connect mini companies with stakeholders, publish an industry yearbook, and are proud to host the bi-annual Queensland Mining Awards.
